Everything but the kilt

I keep meaning to update, but it's been impossible to fit it in. It's hard to believe that a year ago at this time, I had just gotten to Japan ...

Tomorrow I travel again. Despite the fact that my health is marginal (my right ear has had a pain since last night -- nothing I can really do about it) and both my new contacts (grr, they were only supposed to take a week or so, and it's been two and a half!) and my C.C. figure have not arrived yet, I'm going to try not to be so gloomy, since this will be my last entry from the States for a few weeks, and odds are I will not be updating much at all in the UK.
