There's more than one song out there that makes me feel emotional (though no song has of itself made me shed tears), but I'll just pick the one I've listened to most recently.

This is the opening for Clannad After Story, which is one of the few anime out there that has made me cry. It's not just remembering that series' powerful moments that makes this song cry-worthy though -- the song itself has a very strong emotional pull to it that I've felt from the first time I heard it. I've yet to find a translation (the bulk of the one I posted is from animelyrics, with a few tweaks) that conveys that feeling well, but it's definitely there in the music and vocals. Exhilaration, longing ... hope.

Aww, that's a nice song. I've not heard it, I don't think, but I like the lyrics.
