Reveling in the consumerism of Black Friday

Chillin' on my new laptop~

Yeah, I decided to go ahead and open it, because Black Friday's laptop sales were no better than the deal I got, and I'm feeling satisfied and decisive enough to say, "Yes, I am keeping it." (In case you didn't read the last entry, I did not buy this laptop on Black Friday; I got it last weekend.)

Since yaminokaitou requested pics of my new laptop, I shall comply, though I must apologize beforehand for the bad lighting.

As you can (sort of) tell, it's a pretty dark midnight blue color~ The flash brings it out a bit more; it looks black in mosst lights. (Though obviously I didn't buy it for the color, it was a pleasant surprise, since when I first realized it was blue, I was like, "... A blue laptop? Really?")

Love being able to sit with it on my bed~ (My previous laptop's battery died long ago, not to mention it was heavier, haaa~)

I feel like it's going to attract dust ... but of course, flash makes it looks worse than it is.

And there you have it. I don't have a set name yet, but I'm considering "Iks," after the lovely alien boy from The Third. He's the one on the left.

It's kind of sad -- when I posted last time, I realized it had been a month since I even looked at LJ. I don't just mean my page -- any LJ page. I'm sorry to those of you who post on here all the time T_T But maybe this will be a revival of LJ for me, haha~
